2NE1 receives airplay on American radio station?

Apparently many people spotted 2NE1‘s “Can’t Nobody” English version on Chicago’s popular radio station 103.5 KISS FM! If the tips are true, it’s a rather big accomplishment.  ^-^

This happened once before, as TVXQ‘s “Break Out” was played on New York’s Hit Music Station. It’s the second time K-pop is being played on the American radio.

With 2NE1′s future American album with Will.i.am still pending, it shouldn’t be too long before hearing 2NE1′s music playing on American radio stations is no longer a novelty.

  1. Yaaaay 😀 I’ve been telling my friends but no one believes me… K-Pop is coming, and it’s coming strong. >:D

  2. is there any coming up concerts of 2ne1? or they are in a break?

    • We’re not expecting any concerts in near future, but 2NE1 occasionally does performances. Their Japanese album was released two days ago, so 2NE1 will probably be performing the songs in Japan. It’s most likely these performances will be aired on music programmes, like we know “Inkigayo” in South-Korea. Please stay tuned for updates, as soon as we know more we’ll be posting it on this website! ^^

  3. I also heard 2NE1’s “Can’t Nobody” on the Hit List music channel for Direct TV. I screamed my head off! lol

OMG I cannot believe they were played on KISS FM! I listen to that station ALL the time! How did I not hear them? D:

Actually, this is the third time K-POP was played on American radio. Girls’ Generation was played on a Boston radio station 2 or 3 times, not just TVXQ and 2NE1.
