2NE1 to Release One Single at a Time, First Will Be ‘I Love You’
The veil behind 2NE1’s impending comeback has been lifted. On June 29, YG Entertainment revealed the details of 2NE1’s upcoming comeback by announcing the July 5 release of 2NE1’s new single I Love You.
In addition, after the release of the first single I Love You, the second single will be released three weeks later in a single-by-single release strategy as opposed to the entire album being released at once.
A similar and successful strategy was adopted by 2NE1 last year after it released singles such as Lonely, I Am the Best, Hate You and Ugly and swept the charts one by one.
The upcoming first single I Love You was produced by Teddy and will be performed for the first time on July 8 on SBS’ Inkigayo.
